Early life : Son of Saxophone Vidwan R. Prabhakar, P.Guruprasad is a Carnatic Saxophone Artist. He is Comes from Musician Family. His Grand Father is a Famous Nadaswara Vidwan C.Rudraiah. He learned Carnatic Saxophone under the guidance of His Father Vidwan R. Prabhakar, and Learned Carnatic Vocal under the guidance of Violin Vidwan Mysore K.J.Venkatachar (Disciple Of Famous Violin Vidwan Myore T.Chowdiah ), & Vocal Vidhushi Mysore Padma Ananth, Now he continues to learn Vocal Under Guidence of Padma Shri DR. R.N. Tharanathan (Rudrapatnam Brothers).
