I have been tutoring students on their supplementary mathematics courses for 4 years and I have a good record of most of the passing their studies and being able to continue with their studies at higher learning institutions. I have also worked with learners at high school level for several years having to gain experience in the examination styles and teaching methods.
My view on science and maths is that all people can do good in them if a good teacher and time are well provided. This also includes the aspect of attitude towards the subjects.
