Are you excited about discovering the fascinating world of chemistry? As a current BS-MS dual degree student in Chemistry at IISER Pune, I have immersed myself in the exploration and understanding of advanced materials and their applications, at the Advanced Porous Material Lab, I have gained extensive experience in the synthesis and characterization of Covalent Organic Frameworks (COFs) and porous polymers.

I have hands-on expertise in various material synthesis techniques, employing reactions in condensers, tube furnaces, and oven furnaces. My experience with characterization techniques like PXRD, FTIR, and NMR, alongside data analysis using software such as Origin, allows me to provide a comprehensive understanding of material properties and behavior. I have also developed practical skills in pressing pellets using a hydraulic press and making electrodes for conductivity measurements.

One of my proudest achievements is co-authoring a paper titled 'Tailoring COFs: Transforming Non-conducting 2D layered quasi 3D architecture via interlayer knitting with polypyrrole,' published in the Journal of the American Chemical Society (JACS) in 2023. This research showcases our innovative approach to converting 2D COFs into efficient 3D structures, significantly enhancing their electronic conductivity and areal capacitance.
