I hold a PhD in English Teaching from the University of Tehran, one of the top universities in Iran and globally recognized for its academic excellence. With 25 years of experience in higher education, I have dedicated 15 years to teaching in Iran and 10 years in the UAE. Throughout my career, I have taught English at all levels, from beginner to advanced, in both schools and universities. In universities, I have taught general English as well as subjects related to English teaching such as methodology, testing, and English for special purposes like civil engineering, accounting, and math. I have also served as the head of the English department for 10 years. Moreover, I have been a lead teacher for ADEK and KHDA for 10 years in the UAE, consistently achieving the highest ranks in their annual school inspections. To keep myself updated, I continuously participate in Oxford and Cambridge workshops. I am particularly interested in textbook analysis and cultural representation in ELT textbooks and have analyzed several international textbooks from cultural perspectives, publishing my findings. Finally, I have acted as an interpreter in international conferences several times.
