I am deeply passionate about the IGCSE First Language English (FLE) subject. I love exploring language and structural writing techniques that make up the foundations of this subject. I did my Bachelor of Education with Honours in TESOL dissertation on teaching writing techniques and received a distinction (and a first class for my overall degree at the University of Nottingham Malaysia). I love writing so much I’m currently pursuing a Masters in English with Creative Writing. My students love that I can break down the exam questions into a list of techniques that they can apply to achieve the highest marks. As a brilliant writer myself, I am always exposing my students to effective sample essays for all their exam sections and I am also able to look at my students’ writing and give specific feedback. I also put time, energy and effort into creating fun games, activities and presentations for my students to absorb my content better. I myself have a background in public speaking, debate, drama and poetry, bringing those skills into my classes. Most of all, I always have my students' best interests at heart. I am generous with words of affirmation, I challenge them to improve, I connect with their hobbies, I teach with a lot of heart.
