Hello, and thank you for stopping by my profile. I am an experienced personal tutor with a real enthusiasm for my job!

All of my classes are student led, meaning I focus on the student's learning style, academic goals and subject area strengths/weaknesses. With lots of discussion, creativity and humour, the success of my classes is due to strong working relationships between tutor and student, tutor subject knowledge and boosting student confidence.

I am a former home schooling parent with extensive experience working with SEN, EAL and home educated students. For students who struggle with mental health issues, I am patient and supportive, having experienced these issues myself and never letting them get in the way of my personal progress. I have a great working knowledge of all GCSE exam boards and their requirements, as well as experience teaching A Level and iGCSE.

As one of life's perpetual students, I am also always studying! This gives me a great insight into how student stress and exam pressure can affect productivity, and I have many tools to help me overcome these issues; tools I am happy to share. I offer a Whatsapp support service for any homework questions or exam stresses you may have outside of class time. This is possible because I take on a limited number of students every academic year and focus solely on their success.

    I taught students from Year 8 to GCSE in the subjects of English, as well as Social Studies and Religious Studies from Year 7, in a secondary school in the South of England.
