More about My Lessons:

Customised Curriculum - I create engaging learning material based around the most common business and general English topics that avoid useless vocabulary and grammar drills and instead focus on maximum speaking time for the student/s.

Immediate Corrections - Many native English teachers do not give corrections but I do so in a quick and constructive manner accompanied by clear written notes in a shared Google document which can then be used for revision and homework.

Customised Assessments - I provide assessments based on my materials to monitor the retention of knowledge and overall progress for each student at the end of each semester.

About Matt

Before I became a teacher I worked in customer service and then sales for a number of large companies including well-known industry leaders Dun & Bradstreet and Gartner. This corporate background enables me to teach English as a corporate insider to a greater degree than most other English teachers.
My education is in music where I received my certificates for piano and voice from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. I therefore have an excellent ear which has made me a great coach of pronunciation and accent improvement.
