Stephen is an ambitious scientist and an effective leader with more than 19 years’ experience in teaching, waste management, aluminium smelting and other industries. I am a highly qualified Science teacher with over 15 years’ experience teaching high schools in Integrated Science & Mathematics. Generates student enthusiasm for learning through individual connections and motivators. Empowers students through interactive learning, offering fun & educational lessons and exciting science/mathematics demonstrations, which is very beneficial in providing quality education to the students.
My teaching strategy must be hands-on-example, collaborative teaching, encourage teamwork amongst learners and the use of materials in the environment to teach students for better understanding.
I am result-oriented teacher, hence have achieved some outstanding results in my teaching career where I have prepared and mentored over 624 students for the Basic Education and Certificate Examination (B.E.C.E.) and all of them had grade one which is considered excellent except sixty nine (69) students who had grade two considered very good.
One of the reason, I particularly like the educational industry especially teaching and mentoring is the challenges that go along with it and the opportunity to train, mentor and impart young lads to reach their full potential and succeed in life.
