Hi there, aspiring doctors and USMLE candidates,
I'm Dr. Sandesh and I am thrilled at the opportunity to assist you in your journey towards learning medicine and mastering USMLE. I have successfully taken my Usmle Step 1 and 2, and that too during my undergrad. I also hold a distinctive CGPA. With my solid background in this field with my experience and scores, I bring a unique blend of academic rigor and practical insights to my tutoring approach.
In my tutoring sessions, I prioritize active learning and critical thinking, fostering an environment where you feel empowered to ask questions and engage deeply with the material. Whether you are struggling with a specific topic or aiming for a top score, I am committed to helping you achieve your goals. I have tutored dozens of students studying for Step 1 and 2 of USMLE through active learning of Uworld, Amboss and NBMEs. First Aid, this one book has the potential to completely transform your basics and knowledge for step 1 but I have seen many students and teachers not making the use of it in the yielding way. For that, I assure you that I will make you fall in love with this book. I won't only cover a topic but also help you understand it deeply by making you attempt questions. I will teach how to tackle board questions through a thorough breakdown of the questions and by addressing the important highlights in them. To ensure that nothing faulty reaches to you, I authenticate my knowledge through sources like UpToDate and Amboss. I also help my students in their assignments, presentations and researches related to medical subjects. My approach is student-centered, adapting to your unique learning style and pace. I believe in building a strong foundation of knowledge while also honing test-taking skills essential for USMLE success.
It's more of a passive approach and I can assure you nothing is difficult to digest and understand if you hit the right areas, and for that I am here for you. I took both of my Usmle steps undergrad and that's why I rate myself highly because I know how students can get overwhelmed during preparing for their steps along with their medical school. I believe my way of making concepts come alive with core concepts, mnemonics, flashcards, notes and logical approach is my strength.
The resources and books which I have been teaching my students for 4-5 years include; -FIRST AID -Uworld and NBMEs for USMLE Step 1 and 2 -KLM for Anatomy and Embryology -Gyton & Hall for Physiology, -Harper's Illustrated for Biochemistry, -Robbins Basis and Goljan for Pathology, -Davidson and MTB for Medicine -Baily and Love for Surgery
For Usmle, it's always passive learning over active. Feel free to contact and request a DEMO class. Hoping to be your study and helping partner in your journey all the time. See you on the other side, cheers!
