Hello, my name is Hyeny!
I have a total of 3 years of teaching experience and I'm currently working as a private tutor for university students. My main subjects are Computer Science and Math.
I also have experience in teaching elementary school students and high school students.
I enjoy teaching and I feel fulfilled when I see my students thrive in classes.
As someone who struggled a lot in their first year at university, I understand the students' concerns.
I will be your mentor and teach you not only the subject but also how to study efficiently on your own!

I provide customized sessions to students based on their knowledge levels and interests. I constantly ask them for feedback so I can provide them with the best quality sessions. As a result, all of my students are satisfied with my teaching style and perform well in school.
Not only that, I always do my best to communicate and interact with my students. I pay attention to their struggles. Besides the subjects I teach, I give students my honest advice on school life, life abroad, etc.

  • Teaching Assistant (TA) (Jan, 2023–Apr, 2023) at York University, Toronto, Canada
    I was working as a TA for a course "Fundamental of Computer Science". I helped students understand the course materials by answering their questions. I assisted professors, graded assignments, and invigilated exams such as midterms and final exams.
  • Private Computer Science Tutor (Aug, 2022–Present) at Toronto
    I've been teaching university students Computer Science for over 2 years now. The main subjects are programming languages (Java, Python, C), data structures and algorithms, network protocols, Operating Systems, and database management systems.
  • Computer Science Mentor (Apr, 2020–Jul, 2021) at YDC, Toronto
    I was a volunteer mentor and taught elementary and university students. The subject I taught was Computer Science, especially Java and Python coding. I provided customized tutoring sessions to each student based on their knowledge level and interests.
