I am at the top of my class; future premed student.
I believe in scheduled teaching sessions as I prepare for my students beforehand by going over the material thoroughly, as well as providing notes or activities when needed. In my opinion, the highest level of efficient learning is achieved through continuous revision of material and spaced repetition over cramming, as it encourages long-term retention. The learning process requires effort from both sides (student and teacher), as communication is what leads to understanding information. As I mentioned previously, I prepare for my students prior to our meetings; therefore, I expect them to do the same by going over the minimal amounts of notes and homework I may provide after each session.
