  • Ph.D. Research Fellow (Nov, 2018–Present) at Department of Geology, University of Delhi
    Currently, I am working as a Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Geology, University of Delhi, in the field of hydrogeology. I have published an article in the peer-reviewed journal Geocarto International titled “Assessing implications of irrigation schemes in the NASA-Land Information System Framework on land surface fluxes in Punjab, India." Punjab has been the country’s leading food producer at the expense of alarming groundwater extraction. Therefore, coupling of the land surface model (Noah LSM) with the ground water flow model (MODFLOW) is attempted to provide a workable solution for sustainable management of water resources to the groundwater crisis of Punjab, India.
    From June 1, 2019 onwards, I have been working as a teaching assistant at the Department of Geology, University of Delhi. I assist with instructing Hydrogeology for B.Sc. (H) and M.Sc. final year Geology students. I have experience teaching students with various skill levels and ensuring they understand every concept. Furthermore, I help students with internships and tasks related to their dissertations.
