I am certified in French DELF C1 and have working experience in the language as well as experience tutoring full time students as well as professionals both online and in person.
For beginners in French, I start with the basics of reading, writing and speaking in French while for intermediate learners my focus is on ensuring my students become more confident in comprehension and conversation. My lessons are given in French from the onset to encourage students to 'think' in French. I give assignments and expect my students to continue to work on their own in between lessons. With these methods, my students graduate to top performers in class while professionals become more confident speaking to their francophone colleagues.
