Hi! I am WNM Vic Glysen Derotas, the team captain of the FEU Women's Chess Team. I am a UAAP player and I have been playing chess since I was 4 years of age. I have experienced various trainings and competitions throughout my whole career. I have been dedicating my time in mastering and learning chess. I aim to help and guide new and intermediate chess players in learning and understanding the game of chess. As well as aiming to delve into different important concepts and ways of playing. I am student-centered and advocates a fun and productive way of learning. I will not only be focus on bringing the best out of my students but I will also help them enhance their critical thinking skills, decision-making under pressure, and the importance of perseverance that will be helpful to their day-to-day lives. Furthermore, I am capable of making my students feel comfortable throughout the training session. With the plan of teaching, analyzing one's games, and improving while enjoying the game.
