Actually, when I was an undergraduate student,I organized an activity called Chinese Corner to help foreigners make a better understanding of China, especially of chinese culture. However,when I got along with them, I found that most of them didn't know much about chinese history, customs and so on. Therefore, I wanna introduce a more comprehensive China to them.
That's also the reason why I choose this major and why I take this examination. I hope I could acqure more professional knowledge, enhance my teaching skills through systematic study and in the future I could become a qualified international Chinese teacher to promote our culture and language to the whole world.
Now I am helping three international students wiht their Chinese, which is an excellent opportunity for me to apply theories into practice. Besides, I am fond of Taichi, and I think i can make good use of it in the teaching process. For example, when I decid to teach Taoist culture, I could let students experience Taichi firstly, which also contributes to developing their interests.
