Experienced in Quran teaching first the one should know the basic things and then moving towards the higher levels like Tila'wath-e-Quran along with tajweed but before that I prefer to learn the rules. When the student get to know the rules first then it will be easier for him/her to follow them without any difficulty. And I think that in this way the difficulty index will be lower. And in most of the times I prefer the things to be memorized during the tuition hours rather than burdening the student with homework. In my opinion along with learning Quran it is also important to memorise the Duas and student should also get to know about the Hadith and the basics of Islam which are told by Our Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) for living the basics of life.
