I have taught in different education levels, from primary school to tertiary. This makes me diverse and able to cater for learners in different stages and phases of learning. I have also participated in school competitions such as astronomy quiz and was able to secure a top 10 spot provincially with my learners while teaching Natural Sciences. I also assist in English clubs at my workplace and do remedial work with learners who struggle with English. I recently completed a Jolly phonics training that will assist me with building a proper English foundation for my grade 1 learners and any one who struggles with reading and writing English words. I prefer an interactive classroom between a learner and teacher, learner and another learner. This creates a sense of enjoyment for children and they become a part of their learning. Teaching foundation phase has instilled in me patience, strong management and nurturing skills that assist in developing my learners' personalities. Adaptability is my middle name, hence I am able to teach learners of different ages and adjust my teaching approaches to the needs and circumstances of my learners.
