Alhamdulillah tajweed and makharij of quraan are what iam perfect in from beginners to advanced . I have taught many students to recite quraan . I am currently working in Jamia ummul quraan as a tajweed tutor. If you start your child's journey at a very young age it's easier to make them pronounce makharij and talaffuz easily according to my experience. I can guarantee you that it won't be waste of time . Even aged people like 70 years can learn how to recite quraan like sahaba has done... Inshallah
