Hello Everybody! My name is Sudeshna and I taught German language full time in schools for 7years. When I moved to Africa with my husband and joined the UN spouse association, I came across many ladies and gentlemen, who like me have moved here due to their spouse's work but are struggling to communicate in spoken and written English simply because they are nonnative English speakers. I hold English classes to brush up the communication skills of such people. Coming from a country where English is one of the official languages, I can confidently say that my English is good as we have learned English as a subject through our learning years. So I enrolled myself for the TEFL course in UK and learnt how to teach English to people for whom it's a foreign language. Now I teach people online, mostly adults who prefer to learn one on one. They just need someone to practice English with them without feeling like a school student who might be scolded if they perform badly. I find it an enriching experience to get to know people of different countries and feel that I have given them the confidence they are looking for in communication at least when living in a foreign country.
