Hello everyone,

I am a competent, hard working and self motivated person who has a great passion for providing high quality education through teaching English. I hold a Bachelor of Education degree specializing in teaching English. Furthermore, I hold a 180 hour TESOL Diploma and a 120 hours TEFL Certificate.

My classes involve interesting songs, games and funny stories. I use materials like charts, workcards, flashcards and real objects. I can apply a variety of teaching methods as a way of accommodating different types of learners at the same time. I help students develop their reading, speaking, listening and writing skills.

I am interested in training poems, debates, Public Speaking as well as general quiz. I contact my lessons using Google meet, skype and zoom. In my experience, I managed to boost students' confidence in speaking in the public because I continuously engage them in debates, poems, public speaking and general quiz.

Furthermore, I can boost students's writing skills because I can introduce composition practice books which I encourage learners to write 3 compositions per week.

    I am currently conducting part time English lessons on line to examination writing students and those who want to improve their speaking, listening, writing and reading skills. I started this remote teaching during the COVID 19 Pandemic since the schools were totally closed, up to now.
  • Senior Teacher (Jan, 2019–Dec, 2023) at Nyamutumbu High School
    I was teaching English and History to Junior high school students. I planned, marked, delivered and recorded daily work. I also engaged students into extra curriculum activities which were debates, poems and public speaking.
  • Student Teacher (Sep, 2016–Aug, 2017) at Mashoko High School-Masvingo
    I was doing my teaching practice at this school. I was teaching English and History to learners aged 13 to 16 years. Furthermore, I engaged my pupils into extra curriculum activities which were debates, poems, public speaking together with general quiz. Also, I was training Netball to under 16 girls team.

    My charges vary based on time and number of students because sometimes I will be teaching 6 students, 4 students or one on one.
