Greetings, everyone. I am Dr. Salahuddin Khan (SDK), a highly experienced medical doctor (MBBS) with specialized training in general medicine, cardiology, and a PhD in bio-pharmacology. I hold a Master of Health Sciences from the University of Toronto and a Master of Health Profession Education from Maastricht University.
With over 25 years of teaching experience, I have educated students across various disciplines, including MBBS, BDS, Pharmacy, Nursing, and other allied medical fields. My teaching portfolio encompasses subjects such as Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Cardiology, and General Medicine.
My teaching philosophy is based on the following principles:
• Active learning: I believe that students learn best when they are actively engaged in the learning process. I use a variety of teaching methods to engage students, including lectures, discussions, group work, and hands-on activities.
• High expectations: I believe that all students can achieve at high levels, and I set high expectations for my students. I provide them with the support they need to succeed.
• Motivation: I believe that all students deserve to be motivated and inspired. I create a safe and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and taking risks, encouraging them to reach their full potential.
• Collaboration: I believe that learning is a collaborative process. I encourage students to work together to solve problems and learn from each other.
• Assessment: I believe that assessment is an important part of the learning process. I use a variety of assessment methods to measure student learning, and I provide feedback to help students improve their performance.
I am committed to providing my students with a high-quality education that will prepare them for success in their future careers and help them achieve high exam grades. I believe that all students have the potential to learn and grow, and I am excited to help them reach their full potential.
