My purpose as an English teacher is to make a positive and lasting impact on the lives of my students, preparing them to thrive in a global society and become compassionate, engaged citizens who appreciate the transformative power of language and the beauty of literature. I have been working for seven years as a Secondary English Language teacher in the government sector and two years in a reputed international school. I have achieved a pass rate of 86%in the last OL exam for English Language and 100% pass rate for English Literature teaching. I am working as an OL and AL paper marking examiner since 2020.
Moreover, I have won Full International School Award affiliated by British Council of Sri Lanka by Completing seven projects with my students including 3 International projects.
Furthermore, I'm working as a text book translator for the Ministry of Education and a Bilingual Education mentor for my zone. Teaching German is my passion and my favourite thing to do during my free time.The whole purpose of my life is to serve the younger generation of my motherland to achieve their goals by surpassing Language barriers.
