As a passionate educator and Korean language expert, I believe in creating an engaging and interactive learning environment that fosters fun and effective language acquisition. My teaching philosophy is rooted in my own experience learning Korean through the Korea Immigration Integration Program, which instilled in me the importance of relatable and interactive learning.
Currently, as a Korean teacher at a private school in India, I employ a student-centered approach that leverages multilingual analogies to facilitate language learning. By drawing parallels between Korean language sounds and those of Hindi and English, I enable my students to recognize familiar patterns and build upon their existing linguistic knowledge. Moreover, I highlight the structural similarities between Korean and Hindi sentence framing, allowing students to grasp Korean grammar more intuitively.
My teaching style is characterized by:
- Interactive lessons that incorporate games, role-plays, and group activities
- Multilingual analogies to enhance comprehension and retention
- Emphasis on fun learning and hands-on experience
- Encouraging students to explore cultural connections and nuances
By adopting this approach, my students have shown improved proficiency and enthusiasm for learning Korean. I am committed to continuously refining my teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of my students and inspire a love for language learning that extends beyond the classroom.
