I personally learned the way of learning Science and maths through my schooling and excelled in studies.
The current education system in our schools lack individual attentions and we don't know why we are studying ?(for what?).
Most of the students face difficulties in maths & science due to lack of basics. It is sad to know lot of students in highschool even dont know basic mathematical operation such as division and multiplication.
We don't need to study for just sake of marks in examinations. Learning Science & Maths should sharpen their brains and improve logical reasoning, they should grow as problem solvers.
