Mathematics is practical subject just like driving a car. A learner driver wouldn't learn how to drive by receiving verbal instructions only, they also need to get in the driver's seat and drive. This applies to mathematics learners also, they must be taught in instructions and practice. As they understand how to do mathematical problem solving the love for the subject develops.

My teaching style is giving learners more and more problems to solve, explaining where learners are struggling and need help and giving feedback to learners by marking and remarks.
