Currently, I hold a bachelors degree in Mathematics from Wheeling Jesuit University, Wheeling, West-Virginia, USA.

With about 4years of hands-on, successful teaching experience, I am confident of my ability to become a positive addition to your teaching staff at your institution.

To elaborate a bit on my teaching experience, I have several years of experience working as a Substitute Teacher in the New Jersey Public School District System as well as tutoring high school and middle school students mathematics. Some of the courses I have taught as a high School math tutor include SAT/ACT Math, Trigonometry, Geometry, Algebra I&II, Polynomials, Probability, Word Problems, Pre-Calculus and Calculus.

Being a versatile individual, I have had the opportunity to teach students who functioned below, on, and above grade level. I have been very successful at accommodating diverse student needs by facilitating all styles of learners, offering individualized and extracurricular support, and integrating effective materials.

I encourage learning by using a number of different manipulatives, hands-on activities and various forms of technology. By incorporating class discussions, open ended questions and cooperative learning I am able to facilitate a highly interactive and inquisitive atmosphere.

In addition, I utilize weekly quizzes and monthly tests to track student progress, locate areas of weakness and prepare students for final exams.

Therefore, I firmly believe that based on my teaching experience and educational background, I will be a great benefit to the students I teach and I will work thoroughly with my students to eliminate all the barriers they have in math.
