My name is Asia Osundwa. I graduated from Maseno University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education Arts with Information Technology. My passion for education started at a young age. My teachers who gave me the courage and a supportive learning environment while in school inspired me a lot. This made me develop my love for working with students.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Education and am certified to teach secondary school education. I have over 10 years of experience in teaching. I have also completed various professional development courses that have allowed me to incorporate real world problem solving into my lessons and made me stay updated with the latest educational trends and practices.
I teach Swahili, Geography and Computer Studies. Currently, I teach at Khadija Secondary School Mombasa County, Coast region. When I am not in the classroom, you can find me exploring the great outdoors or trying new DIY projects.
As a teacher, I am committed to creating a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all students. I believe that every child has the potential to succeed and that as educators; it is our job to help them reach their full potential. My goal as a teacher is to inspire and empower my students to become lifelong learners and critical thinkers.
My educational philosophy centers on students. I believe that they will work hard when they feel supported and as part of a team. To foster that relationship, I establish clear expectations, offer assistance, and build trust to communicate openly. I aim to create an engaging, interesting, and interactive classroom environment to cater for diverse needs of students.
