I prefer to always start from basics using good presentation. Always prefer to formulate story or a good real life example to make concepts very clear to the students. Regular test and quizzes are there to assess the progress of every particular student. All the ppts and documents are shared to the students for future reference. A roadmap of teaching topics are always shared with students at the beginning of the course.
Prefer to help students with their assignments and assistance in their studies. I believe more to be a mentor along with a good teacher.
