I have a combination of two teaching styles that I use dependent on the students I am teaching. One of my most effective methods is the communicative language teaching style. This is where I will teach the English language based on the types of situations my students will find themselves in whilst going about their general daily lives. I find this to be highly effective because the students can then put into practice what they learnt once they leave the classroom. The second style I use is a hybrid style where I teach the subject using my knowledge and life experiences whist staying within the boundaries of the curriculum. This enables me to be flexible based on the educational needs and learning styles of the students I am responsible for.
