The first thing I give importance to in my teaching is establishing a good connection with the learner.I try to know him personally,know his challenges with the school subject i'll be working on with him.
Depending on the type of learner he/she is,I develop an appropriate technique that will help him/her improve .
I motivate a lot and give a lot of exercises if i deem it important.I'm always on good terms with my learners but i don't appreciate impoliteness and undone home works.
I also encourage parents to motivate learners in addition to what I am bringing to them.
