A prosperous day, 21st Century learner!

Allow me to express my desire to serve you with quality education with a heart. Hi! I am Carlota Caño, 24 years old from Albay, Bicol and currently residing in Las Piñas. I am a graduate student with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education majoring in English from the College of Divine Wisdom 'Batch 2021-2022' and a licensed professional teacher. I became a full-time teacher 3 years ago and still love my profession.

Drama, fiction, true story, and thriller are some of my favorite series/movies to watch. I also enjoy reading books and playing musical instruments such as the ukulele, guitar, and a little flute and keyboard, just to share with you, back in my elementary and high school days, I was fond of poetry and won awards in school-based competitions for composing literary works like short stories and poems. Aside from that, I love to travel and I always consider this as part of my learning experiences. In fact, I have been to different local provinces and places outside of our country. I visited Baguio, Batangas, Cavite, Cebu, La Union, Mindoro, and Bicol which is my hometown; I have been to Singapore and Malaysia too.

Let me share my strengths with you as I discuss why you should hire me. I'm a hard-working person and a creative thinker, and I'm always willing to improve. I was a working student during my undergraduate studies. I tried different jobs and became a part-time tutor to two-grade school students from St. Paul College in Paranaque. One of the work experiences I'm most proud of is my teaching internship at Espiritu Santo Parochial School in Manila, where I was able to improve my communication skills and pedagogy. My passion for art taught me to be creative and I am always eager to learn and discover new things because I believe that curiosity leads to learning and understanding and that learning is a lifelong process. And I'm hoping you'll allow me to put all I've learned into practice and share it with you. And that's all there is to it. Thank you for your time.
