Due to my experience of tutoring at a language center, I became much more patient and understanding towards my students as I realized not all students can work at the same pace as others the same age as them. Therefore, I made it my mission to provide every kid with a quality education suited to their level and so they could leave the class with a smile instead of having the expression of being burnt out written all over their faces.

I would regularly prepare materials from online sources to suit the syllabus being taught whilst also having quizzes once in a while to test their progression in the class. However, due to this being online, I believe in making my students lives easier as I would send documents in class as classwork and expect an annotated copy to be sent back at the end of the class and they would receive the marked copy the next class. many students will not take corrections to heart and therefore I would discuss their corrections with them instead of just noting it down, in hopes of clearing up any misunderstandings they may have on the topic that may lead to them incorrectly answering any questions given in the future.

In my experience, this approach has always provided students with higher results in the end compared to when they first start the path towards their improvement journey.

    For the past 6 months and counting, I've encouraged young minds to grow their capacity for the English language through mediums such as online materials or physical resources such as textbooks following the Pearson curriculum, issued by Cambridge. Throughout my teaching experience, I've had many students ranging from the ages of 3-12 and although it may have been and still is hectic, I enjoy watching each and every one of them hitting huge milestones like learning how to read after months of working with a student on just phonics or helping a student finally use the correct grammatical terms when speaking or writing. Things like this may feel small and unimportant but it's what gives the English language a solid foundation to build on. I'm capable of teaching higher levels of English like the IGCSE or STM curriculum as I, myself attended an International School with a British curriculum since kindergarten and thus, I consider English to be my first language. This may bring comfort to my future students as it leaves no room for mistakes from me.

Fee details

    RM30–50/hour (US$6.74–11.24/hour)

    Fees may be on the higher side if the level of the subject wanted to be taught is advanced. Example, higher secondary syllabus compared to primary syllabus. Fees will also be on the higher side if students wish for their classes to be conducted on weekends instead of weekdays.
