My teaching philosophy is learner-centered, applying active learning and inquiry-based learning approaches. I spice all my lessons with digital technologies like simulations, interactives, animations, videos, and PLIXs to make learning fun and easy to understand. I help students prepare for their internal and external examinations with great results all the time.
Successfully achieved and maintained high class averages (X) in science school examinations and continuous assessments (CATs) 80%≤X<90% across all my classes (years 8 and 9) and the year 2023/2024.
Increased the pass rate of students in CIE Checkpoint Science from 86%- 100% pass rate with over 50/88 students scoring (X), 80%≤X≤100% with two students scoring 50%<Score <60% (April/May examination series, 2023)
Improved students’ performance in Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) checkpoint science from 56.7%- 86% within the first year of my appointment (April/May examination series, 2022).
Engaged middle school science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) students with active learning techniques, IQL, AFL, FA and TST that enabled them to love science score higher in both Internal Assessment (IA) and CIE.
Built positive rapport with the students, school administration, and parents, hence creating a supportive and conducive learning environment for all my students.
