I have competed my M.Sc., M. Phil. and Ph.D. in Botany. I have worked on different aspects of plant sciences. In masters, I worked on tissue culture of some medicinal plants at Plant Genetic and Breeding Lab, CSIR-IIIM Jammu (Than RRL Jammu). In M.Phil. Degree, I worked on molecular genotyping of Gymnema sylvestre populations from Western Maharashtra at Cytogenetic Lab, Department of Botany, Savitribai Phule Pune University (formerly University of Pune). During my PhD, I worked on Bioremediation of Polythene at Ecology Lab, Department of Botany, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. I was also awarded DST-SERB National Postdoctoral Fellowship and worked on plant secondary metabolites at Plant Biotechnology Division, CSIR-IIIM Jammu. I am having more than 6 years of teaching at UG at various colleges (Govt. Degree College Kishtwar, Govt. Degree College Paloura, Govt. I have published more than 20 research articles, 20 book chapters, 14 books with international publishers.
