I am an easy, patient and outgoing individual who loves growth and finds pleasure in working with a child with special needs in the classroom or on a one-to-one basis. Dealing with children with autism and seeing them develop academic, communication, conversation skills, play skills and social skills while decreasing challenging behaviors (non-compliance, aggression, rigid behavior, etc.) at the same time is very fulfilling. All treatment goals are highly individualized to meet the specific needs of the client and family.
What makes me a great teacher is that I am able to come down to the childs' level and see things from their end which gives me an edge in understanding their needs thus making learning easy and fun which in turn creates a bond which makes everything more easier.
Since I begun this path, the results have been tremendous as change has been noticed early and I am very optimistic that my efforts will always be fruitful. I also teach English to the little ones in the process as it is the easiest language they can learn.
What I would like from every parent/guardian is for total cooperation, patience and understanding as not every child is the same for we're all born different and growth is gradual especially at the introductory levels/stages.
