Mathematics is one the most feared subjects by students around the world. Most people avoid it all their lives, and needless to say, lose a lot of opportunities because of this.
But do you know, when taught right, Math is actually one of the easiest subjects to score full marks in, especially at school level. You know why? Because it's the only subject where marks depend on logic, calculation, and precision; all of which are skills that can be taught and learned, unlike other subjects where factors like empiricism, intuition, opinion, creativity, or some special talent play a role.

I scored 100% in the 10th board and 96% in the 12th board in Math not because I was some kind of a genius, but because I was lucky enough to have teachers who taught me these learnable skills. So I wasn't scared of the subject, but instead, ended up loving it. I do my best to be that teacher for all my students so that everyone can learn this extremely important life-skill that is Mathematics that stays with one forever.

I believe in a customized teaching policy for students to provide them with a wholesome experience.
To accomplish this, there are a few things I ensure when I teach:

1. I make sure that every student feels comfortable with me so that they trust me to share issues regarding their understanding.
2. I teach students based on their actual knowledge level rather than what's expected of them at a stage, because gaps in knowledge cause gaps in understanding, which only keeps growing with time.
3. I design curriculum and teaching techniques based on the merit, knowledge, and understanding level of each student, so that no one feels superior or inferior. I ensure this even in a group setting.
4. I bring myself to the interest level of the student and try to offer as many hands-on lessons as possible along with relatable examples so that students understand the topics better and automatically grow interest in the subject to delve deeper and challenge themselves to be better.
5. Most importantly, I make sure students are 100% engaged in the class so that no one ever leaves my class with a gap in understanding of the topic taught.

While I have taught many intelligent students who aced the subject, it's the challenging ones - higher grades students that started at almost zero understanding in and extreme fear for Math and who with my guidance, developed a love for the subject which automatically transpired into much higher scores in exams - are the ones I consider to be my biggest accomplishments. I wholeheartedly believe that positive reinforcement, when applied in the correct manner, can do wonders for students with impressionable minds.

    I have been working part-time as a Math home tutor (online and offline) with students of various grades from all boards for about 9 years now. I help with the school curriculum, provide regular assignments to check understanding, take tests to check progress, and prepare students for school and board exams.

Fee details

    ₹1,500/hour (US$17.69/hour)

    Fees vary based on student's grade, level of understanding, amount of extra tuition work outside of my regular services listed (preparation for any special exam and the like), paid tools to be used for online tuition (if any), and travel requirements for offline coaching.
    However, fees are negotiable.
