I am a part time sciences and English tutor with about 2 years of experience. I am flexible and accommodating to anyone depending on their learning capabilities. Of all these years, all students i taught have made a remarkable improvement. When teaching, i engage the learner fully. I first identify how they are struggling and help them with effective study methods. I then be friend the student. Show them that me being their tutor does not mean they have to be all uptight with me. I try to strike a friendly ambiance between us. Thereby making them comfortable enough to open up to me in any way possible. I do not spoon-feed the student. This is a two way interaction, therefore, the student also has to be engaging in the sessions. Asking questions, seeking clarifications and English lessons wise, reading and speaking English out loud has proven to work wonders for the learners. To avoid the monotony of speaking, introduction of videos has helped a lot. it breaks the boredom of having to listen to me speak. i also offer mentorship and help the students in any way i could. Offering emotional support and offering guidance to any aspect of life is what i also offer.
