Hi, I'm Drishti, a Kathak professional dance, having practiced it passionately since the past 17 years. I am a graduate in the dance form and have 5+ experience in teaching over 150 students aged from 3 years to 50 years.

I have also choreographed Kathak on Indian Classical as well as Western Songs for dance showcases, weddings, performances, competitions, and am myself a track record champion in my competitions.

I believe in your passion for dance. It doesn't matter which background, age or proficiency level you come from, all students are welcome in my classes.

I have practiced Kathak on Tabala and Harmonium and have graduated from a prestigious performing arts college in India, Allahabad Sangeet Samiti.

All Kathak Taale learnt in all Laya (speed) - Teen Taal, Ek Taal, Jhap Taal, Chau Taal, Dhamaar Taal, Pancham Savari, Rupak Taal, Dadra Taal, Keherva Taal. I have learnt Tukde and Tihaaiyan in all Taale.

Additionally, I have also taught students who have passed exams of 1,2,3,4,5 years in Kathak under my supervision, hence I am experienced in the Kathak exam pattern and preparation as well.

Fee details

    £12–40/hour (US$15.38–51.28/hour)

    Depends on the level, i.e., Beginner, Intermediate, Expert.
    Any travel requirement will be paid by the student.
    Exam preparation and theory will be applicable to extra charges.
