Depending on the students, I cover all aspects (speaking, listening, reading, writing)
Usually i focus more on speaking as it's more apllicable in the daily lives. One special thing that i cover is I will not only teach about the formal Mandarin, I will also cover the informal and Malaysian local Mandarin vocabulary which makes the student can apply their mandarin skills more easily in Malaysia. To ensure the effectiveness, I will try giving some tests to the students, to assess students' skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing Mandarin. If the student is struggling with the Math and Science of SJKC, I can cover that as well.
