In my opinion to improve your mathematics you need to clear the concept of each topic and practice as many sums as possible in front of the teacher but by yourself. A good teacher always helps a student to do the sum by himself or herself. Teachers should notice the steps done by the student carefully. Do not give too much pressure over the student. Always encourage the student to do better next time. After completing 2 or 3 topics I always prefer a test for measuring the progress of the student.
