بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ (In the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.)
ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ (All praise is for Allah—Lord of all worlds,) ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ (the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful,) مَـٰلِكِ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ (Master of the Day of Judgment.) إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ (You ˹alone˺ we worship and You ˹alone˺ we ask for help.) ٱهْدِنَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ (Guide us along the Straight Path,) صِرَٰطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ ٱلْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ (the Path of those You have blessed—not those You are displeased with, or those who are astray) sadaqallahul-azim.
The (1st) First Kalma also named “Tayyab” which means the word of purity. It represents the first pillar of Islam which is divided into two segments.
The first part represents the concept of the oneness of Allah (Tauheed). The second segment of First Kalima represents the concept of believing that Muhammad (ﷺ) is the last prophet and messenger of Allah.
It comes right before the 2nd Second Kalma -Shahadat-.
Acquiring both of these concepts is the fundamental principle of every Muslim if he/she has to safeguard himself in Duniya as well as in Akhirah.
