With a Master's in Computer Science from Kansas State University, I am excited to tutor in math and science for elementary and middle school students. As a mom of four children, who have now graduated from top universities, I've spent over fifteen years collectively tutoring my children in these subjects and guiding them through numerous successful science fair projects. This has provided me with a hands-on understanding of tailoring my teaching approach to meet individual needs, and I look forward to applying what I've learned to support the success of more children.

My approach focuses both on covering course material and on teaching practical and translatable skills like effective study habits. I aim to create a supportive environment for students to feel comfortable asking questions and working through concepts at their own pace. My goal is to help students not only grasp math and science but also develop a genuine enjoyment for learning that goes beyond the classroom so that they develop skills that will support them both academically and in their lifelong learning journey.
