Hello! I am teacher Jo-an. I have more than 14 years of experience in passionate teaching. I both have experience teaching formal and informal classes. As for online teaching, I have more than 9 years of experience. I catered to Chinese and Korean students, both adults and children. I've taught business English, phonics, travel English, free talk, and IELTS-speaking. I am actually fond of teaching free talk classes because I get to know my students better.
I really love meeting people, and I desire to impart to them what I learned and what I know. I am also willing to learn from them. Seeing my students become better gives me a sense of fulfillment on my part as a teacher. I look forward to seeing those milestones. I’ve met a lot of students. I have tried different strategies, and it has made me a better teacher through those experiences. I hope I can be an encouragement to my students on this platform.
Passion and love for teaching kept me in the teaching field. I'm convinced that it's my vocation. I love meeting people from all walks of life. I find a sense of fulfillment on my part as a teacher when I see my students grow in wisdom and knowledge, and I always look forward to seeing their milestones. In my view, one of my strengths is that I am able to engage my students in learning. During my leisure time, I enjoy playing various instruments, such as the violin, flute, and cello. Currently, I am studying at a music seminary to further my studies in music. I also love watching historic films. Those things take my fancy. I hope to meet you in my classes. Have a great day!

    I teach English language skills to Korean students (children-adults), including reading, writing, speaking, and listening. I develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of individual students. I assess the student's progress through regular quizzes, and tests.

    As a 51Talk teacher, my main task is to teach Chinese learners English in fun online video lessons. At the end of the lesson, I evaluate the learner's performance based on set guidelines.

    I teach students based on School of Tomorrow guidelines within their specialist subject areas. My duties include facilitating learning, assigning homework, grading tests, documenting progress, and keeping up with parent communication.
