Hi, my name is Evan and I’m a native English speaker from the United States. I’m someone who has a passion for teaching and always does the most for his students. Whether you’re learning for business, travel, or simply for fun, I’m a teacher that can attend to your needs and will help you succeed. As a native speaker I have the ability to teach you the REAL English, including phrases, colloquialisms, and ways of speaking that will make you sound more intelligent, will bring you to the next level, and will give you a more complete understanding of the English speaking world.

My teaching style revolves around immersion, meaning that during the lessons we will speak almost nothing but English. This will greatly help you to improve your listening and speaking skills. We will also spend significant time working on reading and writing, because they are also necessary skills that sometimes can be overlooked. American culture is also a big part of the classes, so rest assured knowing that if you study under me, you will be provided with a plethora of great music, film, book, theatre, and TV recommendations.

    I’ve have been working as a private tutor here in Lima since I arrived, which was early February of this year. The benefit of working with me privately instead of a classroom is that students progress much faster, and are given more time to speak and practice their skills.

Fee details

    Sol25–35/hour (US$6.63–9.28/hour)

    Fee depends on your needs. I know a lot of people here in Lima don’t have much disposable income, so fees can drop if you can’t meet what is usually charged. Fees can increase depending on how far away the student is, but this will only be raised by the price of the bus fare.
