I am primarily a visual learner and therefore teach accordingly. I work best by deconstructing and simplifying concepts so that they are easier to digest - rather than relying solely on rote learning of massive amounts of information. I endeavor to relate information from other subjects to the current subject being discussed (where possible), so that a more holistic approach and understanding occurs. Anatomy is largely a "visual" subject in my opinion and needs to be engaged as such - and at the same time, it must be approached in a way that it can relate to other basic medical subjects and form the foundation for the future clinical subjects to build upon. I am a very approachable person who does whatever is within my means to assist a student with their learning and understanding.
