Hello there, my name is Stuart. I teach music and English GCSE, and also teach Music theory, grades 1-8.
I have over 20 years teaching experience, predominantly teaching children with specific learning difficulties; empowering and inspiring them to achieve and reach their full potential. I also have five years experience as a university lecturer (City University, London).
I have a great deal of field/professional experience outside of teaching, which I believe is incredibly valuable to my teaching methodologies.
I am a very friendly, relaxed teacher, whilst able to motivate and challenge students. I am incredibly passionate about my subjects.
Although I have been a classroom teacher for many years, my real passion is teaching one-to-one.
I use past specimen papers (PDF’s) as teaching aids, so each student knows exactly where they are regarding a potential future mark.
Unlike most online teachers, I mark papers, give homework, guide you through any retakes and help you find external examination centres etc etc
I would love to hear back from you,
Warm regards
Stuart
