Duties and responsibilities include;
Developing lesson plans and teaching materials aligned with the IGCSE English and Literature curriculum. Delivering engaging and interactive online lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. Incorporate a variety of teaching strategies, such as discussions, multimedia presentations, and online activities, to enhance student understanding and engagement.
Designing and administering assessments, including quizzes, tests, writing, and projects, to evaluate student learning and progress.
Providing timely and constructive feedback on students' assignments and assessments to support their academic growth and development.
Maintaining accurate records of student performance and attendance, and communicating with students and parents about their progress.
Providing individualized support and guidance or tutoring sessions for students who require additional assistance outside of regular class time.
Utilizing online learning platforms, video conferencing tools, and educational technology resources effectively to deliver instruction and facilitate learning activities. Ensure that students are comfortable using technology for remote learning and provide technical support as needed.
Maintaining open and proactive communication with students, parents, and school administrators regarding course expectations, assignments, and student progress. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and strategies for online teaching and learning.
Fostering a supportive and inclusive online learning environment that respects students' diverse backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives. Incorporate diverse literature and texts that reflect the experiences and identities of all students in the curriculum.
Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices in online teaching, assessment, technology integration, and subject-specific pedagogy. Pursue opportunities for continuing education, training, and certification in online teaching and IGCSE curriculum.
Analyzing student data, assessment results, and feedback to identify areas for improvement in instruction and student learning outcomes. Reflect on teaching practices, student responses, and lesson effectiveness to continuously refine and improve online teaching methods.
Adhering to school policies, guidelines, and ethical standards for online teaching and professional conduct. Maintain confidentiality and privacy of student information by relevant laws and regulations.

• Teach English language skills; reading, speaking, listening, and writing.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet each student's needs and align with the curriculum.
• Assess learner's progress through, tests, assignments, and regular quizzes.

• Planning, preparing, and delivering English and literature lessons to students in the assigned class.
• Providing guidance, counseling, and advice to students on education, social matters discipline, and their future careers as a temporary guidance teacher under the Guidance and Counseling department.
• Assignment of coursework to my students, assessment, guidance on assignments, and revision of the same.
• Assessing, recording, and reporting on the development progress and student behaviour through formal and random tests
