Danish Ghaffar is a Toronto-based editor, animator, and filmmaker. Graduating from BFA in York University’s film production program with a specialization in video editing, Danish Ghaffar’s post-production arsenal can be best described as one with breadth as well as depth that allows for a holistic approach to filmmaking and post-production. From being a one-man animation team and putting out multiple solo animated works, to having worked on the production and especially post-production of a variety of film projects, Danish has a wide range of experience in film.

His previous project contributions include many short films. His post-production experience includes sound design, animation, and expertise in all things editing. Often, it’s the case that he’s working on multiple aspects of post-production such as in the documentary “Who is this Girl?” where he demonstrates his aesthetic approach to narrative through animation in sync with his style of storytelling seen through his editing. Danish’s seminal documentary “Wendell Comier” shows off his aptitude as a filmmaker from start to finish as Danish directed, produced, and edited this project. Through the amalgamation of his skills, the documentary is a cornerstone of his style of emotional storytelling. His editing encapsulates a perfect balance between visual creativity and practicality.
