I am a Mathematics teacher who just exited the formal education system after 16 years, and would like to become involved with tutoring as it is really more rewarding seeing as I don't have to teach rushed or according to a curriculum. I really like going into detail and I like it when the students truly understand a topic for what it is as supposed to for exam purposes. I can however teach in preparation for exams as I have hosted holiday classes at the aim of acquiring a balance between understanding and success.
I have had experience in delivering tuition to all my learners via video recordings/online lessons and notes etc in Covid Lockdown and Post Covid. I continued with online teaching and video recordings after Lockdown as the learners showed severe shortcomings coming back to school.
I have a writing pad so I can deliver recorded "real lessons on a whiteboard" with extra media.
I have years of prepared tests and years of experience noted in books and notes. I am very good in damage control, I especially like to help learners that struggle but are motivated to succeed.
