In my career so far as a Maths Teacher, I have consistently exceeded expectations and achieved quantifiable success. In my role as a Maths/Further Maths Teacher at Patrick Foley College, I was able increase students' test scores by at least 20% by encouraging group studies, and devicing successful methods for lesson delivery. For example, using learner centered method where I ensure that each student participated during lessons, checking, marking and awarding my students Maths notes regularly and Organizing class quizzes among groups and employing other formative evaluation methods which helped a great deal.
During my undergraduate days, I was always contacted to help prepare both my course mates and lower level students for exams and tests in tough maths and Statistics courses and most of them testified that they enjoyed my classes. For example, I was very good at handling abstract algebra, which was a course feared by many Maths students.
In addition to my professional achievements, I am known for my ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for students. I have a proven track record of building strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues, and have received numerous positive reviews and referrals from past students. I am able to create safe and inclusive classroom environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and taking risks in learning and I feel really good teaching Mathematics. I also have experience in providing individual and small group instructions, as well as creating and delivering lesson plans and utilizing different teaching methods to cater for the needs of diverse students.
